I think they have fiddled the video by filming potting mix in the final result. What I got was akin to a couple of small solid rocks. I think this was due to the spoilt fruit that was added. The final result was dry and hard but noting like the video. It also did not take 3-6 hours. It took over 12 hours. The carbon filters at $40 every three months are expensive. Migh suit a small apartment with no green waste facilities.
I would have given it 5 stars, but for the fact that I can't(?) operate it on a timed-operation. It's first use ran for 7hours, before I realised that the machine wouldn't auto-stop when completed.
I have use the FC 50 2 time since it was delivered early this week. It was worth the wait for the pre-order.
However, the instruction manual needs more information on the operation and cleaning of the unit.
We love the waste disposal unit - rather than having food scraps sitting in a compost bin taking ages to breakdown, we have compost within 5 hours that can be put straight onto out garden!
